Scut files for Sure cuts alot

Okay, I can create scut files for sure cuts alot.  However after using the software it seems just as easy to import an svg.  Please let me know if it would be beneficial to put scut files in my free svg folder as well as the svg files.  You have to save the files to your desktop before you can open them in sure cuts alot either way so I am not sure if I am gaining anything by creating the scut file.  Please let me know if you would appreciate a scut file over an svg file.  Thanks

Reloaded pumpkin and leaves as well as the poinsettia gsd, plt and svg files

I got so many emails from people saying they did not get these files so I am loading them out here again.  I am so pleased so many people liked them.  Thanks so much for all your great comments!

Just loaded the Poinsettia and snowman gsd, svg and plt files

I'm so sorry.  I got so sick.  I have been throwing up since last night.  It finally has subsided and think maybe the worst is over.  Needless to say the files had to wait.  Have a Happy ThanksGiving Day Everyone!!!  To help you celebrate Thanksgiving Day I will load the pumpkin and leaves file out there for one day on Thursday.  Everyone voted to have the poinsettia file so I did that one first.

Here is a snowman gsd, plt and svg design

Well I got a request for a snowman.  I was determined to make a cute one.  I am trying so hard to get the hang of creating cute things so when I get some grandchiIdren I will be all set.   I will be loading this out here tonight and then tomorrow night I will load either the pumpkin and leaves file or the poinsettia file.   I don't think anyone liked my pumpkin file.  You don't have to cut it out in black.  It looks good in brown as well.  Which file do you want me to load out tomorrow night.  Please let me know.  I am leaning toward the poinsettia file?????

Here is a corner design for a scrap book page for the fall.  I sort of like it just as a silhouette.  To make the design be forThankgiving just add the turkey I created a while back.  I will be posting this in my free folders tonight.  It will only be out there for a few days.

Poinsettia Design for GSD, SVG and PLT formats

I am finally happy with this poinsettia design.  It has taken me so many tries to finally get what I was looking for.  I kept wanting to layer the leaves on the flowers but that kept distorting my designs.  So finally I said just get the basic shape and go from there.  I found the basic shape of the poinsettia on the public domain website and then just modified it to meet my needs.  Now I am HAPPY! I love, love this.  It makes me smile.  Poinsettias have always meant Christmas to me.  My Mom always had them in the house at Christmas time.  We had a Poinsettia tree in our flower bed in the front of the house which grew to reach the roof of the house when I was a teenager.  When it blossomed it was the most beautiful sight to see.  This design shows one long branch of the poinsettia tree.  In Texas we didn't have snow but we had these.

 

Here is a picture of a straggly poinsettia tree but you can get the idea.  My husband said it didn't look like a typical poinsettia and he is right.  This design is based off flowers from a poinsettia tree.

 

Just loaded the free gsd, svg and plt holly frame I created for my Pet

This design is very intricate but well worth the patience to separate the pieces.  I cut mine out and it is really pretty.

Another IL (Intricate Layered) Cutaway Design

This design took a while to figure out but I think I like this better than my other ones.  I was trying to capture the horse farm next door to me.  I might use this for my Christmas Card.  It will be a tri-fold card.  You can take normal cards and then paste one inside of the other and it will form a tri-fold card.  You must cut your designs though before you paste them inside one another.

 
This is pretty cool because all it has is two frames one layered on top of the other and then if you want the horse and barn and bow to be a different color you have to cut them out separately and then put them on top of the horse or barn on the layered frame.  Then you add the bow if you are using it for Christmas.  So there is only five pieces for such an intricate design.

I created another layer for the snow to outline the trees but I'm not sure I like this.  I think it makes it too much.  Please tell me what you think.  Do I need to outline the trees with snow?

Free svg, gsd, and plt photo frame for christmas card

I wanted a Christmas Card to insert a photo into and here it is.  It is small but that is the way I wanted it.  You can create this using any colors.  As you can see I tend to go with sedued colors.  However I did put another picture just below to show other ways of doing this.  I have this as a cutaway or a frame.  I will be giving this away tomorrow night.  Please let me know what you think.

Just played around with Swirl tool this morning and came up with this gsd file

The swirl tool is so neat in Inkscape.  I love just fooling around with it.  Well this morning it turned out pretty good.  Here is a frame I did using the swirl tool only.

Designed a gsd file for A card for a cat lover

He has 3 cats and one of them just past away.  He said the cat was really more like a dog because he followed him from room to room and waited at the door everyday for him to get home.  He would almost bark with a loud meow if he didn't come into the house fast enough.  I'm going to try to get this cut out tonight and give it to him on Friday.  I hope it makes a nice sympathy card.  Do you think it will be too much?  Sometimes you don't know how people will take what you're trying to say.  In this design I am trying to depict here that the cat is still waiting at the door everyday in anticipation of his arrival.  I truly feel that our loved ones do stay with us in spirit.  Here is the card.

 
  

Just downloaded free gsd, svg and plt files of a Polar Bear and Cub

I never got this the way I wanted it.  As always, I have trouble making things cute.  The Polar bear looks more like a lion than a bear.   I left the hat off because I thought it was too much.  However the hat is included in the file if you want to use it.  I didn't get a chance to test cut it either.  Please let me know if this cuts okay.

Just loaded the free plt file for the Sheltie

This takes two files to get all the parts.  I hope it works okay.  I never tested it.  Please refer to the picture to see how it all goes together.  Sorry, I am way to busy to give instructions.

I just loaded the files for the sheltie.  I have not had any time to cut any new files.  I did do a design today of some polar bears but not liking it yet.  It is still rough but wanted to share it with you.

Uncle, Uncle and Uncle

Well, this has been a hard 20 months.  We have just lost another dear loved one.  My husband's father passed away on Thursday.   He is the fourth dear loved one we have lost in the last 20 months.  I have said no more!!!!!!  I hope things will finally settle down for us.  I do have some files I want to load but have not had a chance to do it.  Please forgive me for not responding to your emails and comments.

My 2009 Christmas Card designs

Well, I liked these at first but now I am having second thoughts.  Not sure if I will use these or not.  My husband wants something with evergreens so I am going to try to do a scene with them.  I tried creating a poinsettia file again but again I failed.  I am about ready to give up on them.  The last try I will make is doing a popup card with them.  Wish me luck!!!!

This is a scene of a river running through the forest.

This is a scene of almost the same thing but instead of the river I changed it into a road for the sleigh.  I have been on a sleigh ride once and I recommend it highly.  It really captures the New England Christmas to a tee.  However you must dress warmly and have a very warm blanket and of course a glass of wine when you stop to listen to the quietness of the forest.

I am not too good at doing animals yet but gave it a try and created a cut file of her beloved sheltie who just passed.  The picture she sent me was so precious.  I only wish I did it justice.  If I could cut shades of color, it would make this so much more realistic.  She gave me permission to show you the file.  It makes my heart skip a beat because I too lost my precious lab less than a year ago.
