Here is a design I did several years ago. It is very dear to my heart. I grew up in Texas and this scene represents alot of things that I cherish about Texas. The barbed wire fence which I tore many of my shorts and tops on which were sewn by my Mom, the Windmill that I saw dotted across the landscape, the Longhorn which roamed through the cactus pastures and the beautiful blue bonnets that would come up every spring which we looked forward to, and oh the cactus which caused many a painful experience. Like the old adage "You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl" is soooooo true. I have lived in Connecticut now twice as long as I did in Texas but I still consider myself a Texan.
