Sorry I have been gone for soooooo long. Between vacation and then having issues with my eyes I have not been able to design anything for over 5 weeks. I can't believe how long it has been. I go back to the doctor on Monday to see how my eyes are doing. They are finally starting to feel much better, so I know that the eye drops he is giving me is finally working. Yay!!!!! I will be posting something out here tomorrow night.
I am currently rushing and I mean rushing on a design for a "Baby shower in an envelope" concept. My Son and his wife live in Colorado far from family and friends. So I am sending an invitation inviting family and friends to participate in a shower from afar. The card will have an inside pouch which will contain a baby shower favor. It is a pressed pink heart embedded with seeds which you can plant in a pot which will grow into wild flowers. This pouch will also contain a "Fun Activity" sheet. The sheet will ask various questions such as How long should you burb a baby or what is the best way to put a baby to sleep, etc. etc. Then there is a section on guessing the babies weight and height. Another section will list eight names they may name the baby and you have to select the one you think they will pick. There is so much more on the sheet but too much to explain here. I will then have an enclosed return envelope so they can mail the "Fun Activity" sheet to the expectant parents. I will also enclose a picture of the baby's room. This way everyone gets to celebrate the new birth of the baby together. If this turns out okay, I will share it with you. Wish me luck!!!!
Ohhhh I almost forgot to say what else I was doing - buying baby furniture, baby clothes and having a blast doing it. We know it is going to be a girl and do they ever have beautiful, girly clothes out there. I love baby gap and believe it or not I love Kohls too! My husband says to me, "You told me that was going to be the last order!". I said, "It was the last order for that week." He said, "Oh, so we are making one order every week." I said, "Yes." Honestly, I am going a little crazy but it is our first grand baby.
I am so sorry you have been having trouble with your eyes. How exciting about all the baby stuff. I probably won't get to do that for a few years until DS gets out of college. But that's smart they don't need a baby while he still in school. I'm ready for all that Grandma stuff though!

You have the right to go overboard with the first grandchild. Celestial right, I would add. Your idea about a long distance baby shower is awesome.
I have been away from my computer and was unaware that you had eye problems. Hope your vision is all right now.
Take care
